Common Jewellery Display Mistakes And How To Avoid Them

Display attracts the customer at the first place. The quality of product keeps them coming back for more. There are little things, which you often ignore about, while choosing the right display cabinet or case for your product. These mistakes can mean a lot in terms of customer satisfaction and loyalty. Luxury items need special attention to the small details. The display should reflect upon it. Here are some mistakes which should be avoided when choosing a display.

Staying with the same product display

Monotonous routine makes a dull man. Same way not changing your display white regularly can make the casing dull and boring. Your customers might lose interest in the product, even though it may be best in class. Customers tend to ignore the products, which don’t change their display over time. You can shuffle the various displays for various products. Make it a point to change the product displays regularly.

Poor choice of location

The displayed product should be easily visible to any eye seeking it. Poor choice of location to display the product can have a drastic impact on your sales. If the shopper sees the product he is interested in, then he will obviously seek it near the display. Make sure you choose the location carefully.

Poor themes or story selection

Every display in your retail store should be connected to a theme or a story. It makes the product more appealable to the customers. Choose a theme which can be related to a potential customer.

For example, a kids section in the store can be themed on increasing the productivity of the kids. Such innovative ideas will surely keep your customers coming back. A perfect blend of colours like cabinets display black with the display can be chosen to make it more attractive to the eye.

Case selection for jewellery items

The case selection should be such that it does not harm or scratch the jewellery. A minor mismatch in the size of the case and jewellery can make a big scratch on it. You do not want your customers to see a scratched piece of expensive jewellery when you open the case for them.

Size of the case

When it comes to luxury products like jewellery you want a case that perfectly fits the product. Opening a very big case for a small piece of jewellery will not only look awkward but also repel the customers from your store.
